Not having to go back to work until next Monday gave me the chance to walk the kids to school today. My lad, who is 11, has ASD a form of Autism which makes him prone to taking in usless facts. Normally the conversations are about computer games but today standing in queue waiting for the school to open we got onto the subject of Quantum Physics, light speed and the 'dobler effect'. Some of the things that he was talking about were 'heavy' but he was very informed. It had the desired effect as the Headmaster who was standing with us outside the gates looked at him with total disbelief.
