The old adage is 'never been in an accident, but seen a lot in my rear view mirror!' Yesterday I got a lift into work and when approaching a mini roundabout saw what could have been a nasty crash by about 6".
The driver with me commented "That was lucky! Could have been here ages giving a statement!"
Are people so un-phased about accidents these days? Is it a natural part of travelling on British roads (or else where I assume).
Considering most hold ups on motorways are other drivers 'rubber-necking' to see the results of an accidents, it would appear we have an un-natural love of crashes, as long as we are not involved and it doesn't make us late for work....
