So Slobodan Milosevic escapes being tried for crimes against society by dying of ‘natural causes’ in his cell. Why do I think, reading blogs tonight, that people feel cheated by his death.
So many dictators die before they get to trial or sentencing.
Hitler died of suicide 1945
Ho Chi Minh died of old age 1969
Tito died in 1980 after a prolonged illness.
Ayatollah Khomeini died 1989 of old age
Pol Pot died of a heart attack before he could be tried in 1998
Idi Amin Dada the 'Butcher of Uganda', died in 2003 of 'multiple organ failure'.
Ferdinand Marcos 1989 died of Cardiac arrest
Lets hope there is a hell and they are getting their just deserves.
